On loan until the end of the season, Duffus joined Pools from League Two side Barrow in January 2024.
The former Everton youngster, who represented Ireland at youth level, was a proven goalscorer in the National League with Yeovil Town and Bromley. That earned him a move to League One in 2021 with Morecambe.
Duffus was also part of the Stockport County team that won the National League title in 2022, having joined the Hatters on loan.
