Hart of Our Club Youth Alliance

Our 'Hart of Our Club Youth Alliance' was launched in August 2021 with an aim of re-establishing links between the Club and grassroots football clubs within the town, to help re-establish local community relationships and create new pathways for youth boys and girls football.

The Youth Alliance sees grassroots clubs benefit from ticketing initiatives designed to engage young fans, opportunities for the young players to be ball boys at HUFC games, coaching development support for grassroots coaches, player appearances at community events amongst other partnership initiatives. The Alliance will also provide the building blocks of future youth football development programmes.

With support from the “Hart Of Our Club 1908” the Club are now partnered with Seaton Carew FC, St Francis FC, Pools Youth FC, Greatham FC, Wolviston FC and FC Hartlepool.

Since its inception, hundreds of tickets have been given away to grassroots Clubs on our annual Youth Alliance days, and last season our inaugural "Her Game Too" day specifically for girls teams in the town.

The Youth Alliance initiative is also be open for other grassroots clubs to be involved in the future. To register your interest, e-mail supporterliaison@hartlepoolunited.co.uk

Over the past number of years St Francis has grown from strength to strength, going from 3 teams to now 17 teams with the structure to grow and develop further. With the introduction of the ladies team our aim is to grow the girls section based on the success of our grassroots mixed and males teams.

The club is under a structured development plan within, and has worked hard, gaining a wider development committee to drive the club forward on all areas such as facilities, a club house, more teams and more although the focus has always been, and will continue to be, the development of our players giving them the foundations to grow.
