Experienced right-back Hendrie returned for his third spell at the Suit Direct Stadium, after signing on a season-long loan from Bradford City in August 2023.
The former Manchester United and Derby County youngster made his professional debut back in 2015 for Pools, on loan from Burnley.
Following spells with Shrewsbury and Grimsby Town, Hendrie permanently moved to Hartlepool in 2021.
That return only lasted five months as he joined Bradford in the January transfer window, though the defender is now back in the North East after playing 22 times for the Bantams.
