Community | Together Against Suicide

Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation are proud to be working with the Premier League with Together Against Suicide

Every 90 minutes, someone in the UK takes their own life.

Football brings people together and encourages them to have conversations.

The Football Leagues and Club’s platforms help reduce stigma and highlight suicide prevention support.

The Premier League will be working with Samaritans on the initiative, who provide people in the UK with free 24/7 confidential support.

There will also be a Together Against Suicide online hub available on the Premier League website which contains information and support for those who need it most – premierleague.com/togetheragainstsuicide

Call Samaritans for free day or night on 116123

You Are Not Alone.

The Foundation will be supporting World Suicide Prevention Day, Wednesday 10th September and the Premier League Together Against Suicide initiatives. We currently provide a variety of activities to support people’s mental health and wellbeing:

  • Women’s Walking Group
  • Women’s Hub
  • Veterans Hub, Badminton and Indoor Bowls
  • Play 4 Life Adult Football
  • Disability Adult Football
  • Holme House Twinning Project
  • Vulnerable Young Women’s Group
