Miley joined Pools in January 2025 after enjoying nearly a decade of development with Premier League side Newcastle, having joined the Magpies at the age of 11.

He made his Newcastle United U21s debut as a 17-year-old against Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Trophy and went on to play for the first team in several pre-season fixtures.

Miley gained experience in League Two during the first half of this season, playing eight times on loan at Newport County.
