Miley Extends Contract with Pools

Hartlepool United are delighted to announce that Jamie Miley has penned an extension to his contract, keeping him at the Prestige Group Stadium until 2027 with the Club having an option of another year.

The midfielder joined Pools in January from Newcastle United after a loan spell with Newport County in League Two.

Miley made an instant impact on his debut away to Braintree Town, scoring a stoppage-time equaliser in a 1-1 draw.

The 21-year-old has played 30 games for Pools and has been a pivotal character in Simon Grayson’s midfield this season.

On extending his contract, Miley said:

“I’m delighted.

“As soon as I came in January, the love and support from everyone at the Club have been really good.

“I’m really enjoying my football here.

“It’s also to give back to Hartlepool, for giving me the opportunity to come into men’s football and state my place.

“I want to go further with Hartlepool, this is the best place for me.”
