A product of the club’s Academy, young defender Stephenson signed his first professional contract in December 2023. That was a special month for the youngster, as he scored his first senior goal in the Isuzu FA Trophy and made his league debut for Pools.

He also made two appearances in the Emirates FA Cup in 2022/23, coming off the bench against Harrogate Town and Stoke City.
