Three teams join HOOC Youth Alliance

The Hart of Our Club Youth Alliance are delighted to welcome three new teams – Gretton Crest FC, Hartlepool Lake Youth FC and Hartlepool Stags Junior Football Club.

This is in addition to our founder members – Seaton Carew FC, St Francis FC, Pools Youth FC, Greatham FC, Wolviston FC, FC Hartlepool, Hartlepool United Women and Her Game Too, who have been an integral part of the Youth Alliance since its inception.

Our ‘Hart of Our Club Youth Alliance’ was launched in August 2021 with an aim of re-establishing links between the Club and grassroots football Clubs within the town, to help re-establish local community relationships and create new pathways for youth boys and girls football.

The Youth Alliance sees grassroots clubs benefit from ticketing initiatives designed to engage young fans, opportunities for the young players to be ball boys at HUFC games, coaching development support for grassroots coaches, player appearances at community events, amongst other partnership initiatives.

The Alliance will also provide the building blocks of future youth football development programmes.

Since its inception, hundreds of tickets have been given away to grassroots Clubs on our annual Youth Alliance and Her Game Too days as well as holding our annual Play on the Pitch tournament.
