Jameson reunited with his former York City manager, John Askey, in July 2023 after joining Pools on loan from Harrogate Town.
The former Middlesbrough youngster signed for Darlington after spells in the Northern League with Consett and Sunderland RCA. Jameson gained three promotions during his four seasons with the Quakers.
He then played over 100 times for Blyth, helping the team to a National League North play-off finish. His next destination was York in 2019, where he spent three years with the Minstermen and and won the 2022 Clubman of the Year award as Askey's side were promoted to the National League.
In the 2022/23 campaign, Jameson gained experience in League Two with Harrogate before making the temporary move to Hartlepool.
