Pools to take on Chester-le-Street United

Hartlepool United will enter the Durham Challenge Cup with a trip to Chester-le-Street United on Wednesday 11th September (7:30pm kick-off).

A young Pools side, led by Ian McGuckin, will head to Chester-le-Street in the first preliminary round of the Durham Challenge Cup.

Chester-le-Street United, who are coached by former Pools defender Michael Nelson, currently sit 18th in Northern League Division Two.

The fixture will take place at The Riverside Sports Pavilion (DH3 3JS). Tickets are available on the gate, with both cash and card accepted. Admission is priced at:

  • Adult – £5
  • Concession – £3
