Pools face Forest in final friendly

Hartlepool United welcome Nottingham Forest B to Victoria Park on Saturday afternoon as Darren Sarll’s side round off their pre-season schedule.

Sarll’s side have claimed back-to-back victories on home turf, with wins against Sunderland U21s and Scunthorpe United over the last week in pre-season.

Mani Dieseruvwe has scored in both, while Tom Parkes and a trialist also got on the scoresheet.

Nottingham Forest B, managed by former Hull City boss Warren Joyce, are fresh from a trip to Spain where they faced Real Murcia and CD Minera.

Joyce has deployed Northern Irish internationals Dale Taylor and Aaron Donnelly so far in pre-season, while Alex Mighten with 50 Championship appearances has also featured.
