Foundation: PCC Spring Activities

16 April 2024

Campbell Darcy and Louis Stephenson made a surprise visit to Hartlepool United Community Sports Foundation's Easter programme for teenagers in the local community.

Over the Easter holidays, the Foundation ran free football sessions for young people aged 12 to 16-years-old, funded by the Police & Crime Commission. On average nearly 40 players attended each day, enabling them to play in a safe and controlled environment while reducing anti-social behaviour in the area and creating new friendships.

Pools duo Darcy and Stephenson refereed matches and talked about their football experiences. They also distributed match tickets for the final home game of the season against Dagenham & Redbridge last Saturday.

The Foundation also ran free football sessions in the February half-term period, where Pete Jameson and David Ferguson made a special visit.
