Nathaniel-George speaks to press upon signing for Pools

Ashley Nathaniel-George hopes to make a positive impact for Hartlepool United after signing for the Club on loan from York City earlier in the week.

On the move to Pools, Nathaniel-George told local press: “It’s been good so far, I’m enjoying it – a good experience

“I had a conversation with the Gaffer [Nicky Featherstone], and he told me what he wanted for me and expected – that aligned with what I wanted to do aswell.

Everyone seems good. I know Cam [John] from being at York City, and Nathan Ferguson from London.

The winger joins from high-flying York, appearing eight times for the Minstermen this season, along with playing a key role in their push for promotion last campaign.

Nathaniel-George looks to bring this experience to Nicky Featherstone’s side, saying, Hopefully I can bring my skills, and we can win some games. 1v1, dribbling, creating chances – that’s what I like to do.

“That’s the plan – play some games and help the team.
