Monkey Business welcomes Northern Rocks Vinyl

We are delighted to welcome on board Northern Rocks Vinyl to our Business Networking Club, Monkey Business.

Northern Rocks Vinyl was founded by Phil Dunn in 2019 as a tiny stall within Kiwi Trading Antiques Emporium in Hartlepool. Since then the shop has grown and grown and is now probably THE biggest Vinyl Record Shop in the North-East with over 30,000 items of New, Pre-Loved and Rare Vinyl in-store.

“The shop is a real hidden gem” Says Phil. “Although we are tucked away in a corner of Hartlepool, we have expanded 3 times since opening as the demand for vinyl has increased rapidly over the last few years.

“We have struck up deals with all of the major Distribution Companies, too and now stock New Releases as they happen, as well as vintage and rare records from the past 7 decades.

“We also sell Vintage Hi-Fi, Record Players and Jukeboxes..in fact, everything for the Vinyl Lovers of the town.

“The chance to join Monkey Business and get involved with Pools was a no-brainer, really!

“Quite a few of our loyal customers are Pools fans, and our Saturday Mornings always see plenty of Pools shirts in the place.

“It’s a nice combination. Pools and music. And there’s always a buzz on matchdays

“There’s a definite feeling the good times are coming back to the Club and the Town…and we really want to be a part of that”
