Match Preview | Yeovil Town

Hartlepool United begin their 2025-26 Enterprise National League season away to Yeovil Town for the second consecutive season

After a string of mixed tests in pre-season, Simon Grayson’s Pools kick-off the regular season with a trip to Huish Park.

Eleven new faces have joined the Club in the summer, including the returns of Brad Walker, Danny Johnson and Matty Daly.

Yeovil have had a mixed pre-season, playing EFL sides alongside local non-league teams.

Mark Cooper’s side will look to build upon last season’s 18th place finish.

Centre-forward Aaron Jarvis and defensive-midfielder Brett McGavin finished as joint-top goalscorers for the Glovers with seven each.

Last Time Out

Pools began their National League season away to Yeovil last season, winning 1-0 courtesy of Jack Hunter.

The reverse and most recent fixture at the Prestige Group Stadium also ended in victory for Pools, as Gary Madine’s late winner saw the match end 2-1.
