Match Preview | Eastleigh (H)

Hartlepool United welcome Eastleigh to the Prestige Group Stadium in their final Enterprise National League home game of March

Pools look to keep up the chase of their play-off rivals following a 1-0 win away to Truro City last time out.

Nicky Featherstone’s side have only four games left on home soil before the campaign comes to a close.

The Opposition

Eastleigh are looking to make sure they avoid the drop after finding themselves five points above the trap door.

The Spitfires currently occupy 18th spot in the table, with only two wins in their last five, against relegation-threatened Truro and Brackley Town.

Aaron Blair is the top scorer at the Silverlake Stadium with 15 goals this campaign.

Last Time Out

The sides last met in November in the torrential rain.

Two rockets from Cam John and Nathan Sheron handed Pools all three points with a 2-0 win.
