Match Previews

Match Preview | Altrincham (A)

Hartlepool United travel to Altrincham for their first midweek Enterprise National League fixture of the season at the J.Davidson Stadium.

Pools look to build on their 2-0 home win over Braintree Town on Saturday.

Pools are unbeaten in their first two games, keeping consecutive clean sheets.

Altrincham are hoping to put things right after losing 2-1 away to neighbours Rochdale in their previous match.

The Robins have won their sole game on home soil, beating Aldershot Town 3-2.

Last Time Out

The sides last met in February at the Prestige Group Stadium, when Altrincham ran out 2-1 winners.

Nicky Featherstone’s stoppage-time goal was merely a consolation for Pools.

The last time Pools travelled to the J.Davidson Stadium, Nathan Sheron was on the scoresheet in a 1-1 draw in October 2024.
