Featherstone issues Her Game Too message

Hartlepool United’s player-coach, Nicky Featherstone, has issued an important message ahead of Saturday’s Her Game Too dedicated fixture against Solihull Moors.

The Pools midfielder is a player-advocate for Her Game Too, supporting and raising awareness of the campaign to stop sexism in football.

Pools welcome Solihull Moors on Saturday in our third dedicated Her Game Too fixture, and Featherstone has stressed the importance of the event.

“On behalf of the Club, we’re really proud of the work that we do with Her Game Too,” he stated.

“It’s vitally important to spread awareness of the campaign, to stop sexism in both football and society.

“We want everyone who attends a Hartlepool game to feel safe and welcome. Any kind of abuse should not be tolerated and we urge anyone to report it where possible.

“I’m personally very proud to be an advocate of Her Game Too, and I look forward to being a part of the event on Saturday.”
