Details on our Remembrance Day fixture

Full details regarding our dedicated Remembrance Day fixture against Eastleigh this Saturday can be found below.

At Saturday’s fixture, the HUCSF Armed Force Veterans Group will provide a guard of honour with Standards from, 8Rifles, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, Green Howards, Yorkshire Regiment, The Guards, Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club, Royal Engineers, Royal British Legion and Coldstream Guards.

Supporters are asked to arrive at the stadium for 2:45pm, ready for our ceremony ahead of kick-off. A two minutes’ silence will be held after The Last Post has been played.

On Remembrance Day, we acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who have served their country and acknowledge our responsibility to work for peace they fought hard to achieve. Remembrance unites people of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds.

The HUCSF Veterans Group will also be collecting around the stadium, to support our Veterans HUB and activities which we provide for them, promoting mental health and wellbeing.

The players will be wearing special Remembrance Day kits, created by Errea, which will later be auctioned off in support of the British Royal Legion.

The Club raised over £7000 for the charity last season, and will again be looking to donate another fantastic figure.
