Danny Johnson Signs for Pools

Hartlepool United are delighted to welcome Danny Johnson to the club.

The experienced striker returns to Pools on a permanent basis following his most recent spell at Walsall. The Teessider has made over 350 appearances across England, Scotland, and Wales since departing Pools’ youth setup.

Upon signing, Danny stated:

“I am delighted to sign for Hartlepool United. It is a club with high ambitions and I can’t wait to get going in the blue and white shirt I remember fondly as a youth player.”

Upon welcoming the forward back to the club, Pools Manager Simon Grayson said:

“We are delighted to have signed Danny. His record speaks for itself scoring over 200 goals in his career which is testament to his overall ability. His experience, know-how, and ultimately his goalscoring capabilities are going to be a great addition to the squad we are building.”
