Academy Talent ID Trial Day announced

Hartlepool United Academy will be holding a Talent ID trial day ahead of the 2026/27 season during the Christmas break.
A number of players have come through the academy set-up over recent years and featured for the Hartlepool United first team, with the latest being Kian Foreman, who has signed a professional contract after impressing within the Club’s academy.
The set-up involves Pools working closely with Hartlepool Sixth Form College, offering a variety of outstanding educational opportunities alongside the opportunity to represent our thriving academy.
The Talent ID trials will be for current U16 and U17 footballers (School Years 11 & 12) and will be overseen by the club’s academy coaching staff and Hartlepool Sixth Form staff. All players must pre-register by completing the online form.
To register for our Talent ID trials, please complete the online form by visiting:
This is a first come, first served opportunity. We will close the application process when the allocated spaces are filled or on Friday 12th December.
You will receive an email with our Hartlepool United Academy information pack attached. Within that pack there will be full details including date, time, location, pathway, courses, code of conduct and much more.
Please note, not everyone’s time for their Talent ID trial will be the same, so it’s important to read all the information carefully.
