A run-down on the next seven days at the Club…
Tuesday – Men’s
Our First Team welcome Morecambe to the Prestige Group Stadium on Tuesday night.
The lads have had over a full week to prepare for the Enterprise National League affair, following victory over Solihull Moors last weekend.
Interim Manager Nicky Featherstone has spoken on the test he expects to see from Ashvir Singh Johal’s side.
“They are a better team than their league position suggests.
“I’m expecting a tough game, but one we’re looking to go on and build a bit of momentum from.”
Wednesday – Academy
Three of our Academy teams are back in action this week.
The Shadow Youth Team will travel to Bridlington Town, whilst our U19s face South Shields in the National League Academy Cup at Blackhall.
After a week with no games for all sides, Alex Cross’s teams will be well prepared for the challenges ahead.
Thursday – Press Conference
Featherstone will be due to speak to the press on Thursday afternoon ahead of the trip to FC Halifax Town.
Preview pieces will be available on our website, as well as a Match Preview on our YouTube channel.
Saturday – Halifax (A)
The lads will travel to Halifax in the National League following two consecutive home games.
Pools took four points from the Shaymen last season, with a 1-0 victory in West Yorkshire the latest result between the two sides.
Saturday also sees Pools U16s take on UCFA in the Junior Premier League.
Sunday – Women
Pools Women will look for their third successive win in the league as they travel to Birtley Town.
After a 4-1 win over Wallsend BC Reserves on Sunday, the Lasses are in good spirits as they look to build momentum.
