Match Preview | Boreham Wood

Hartlepool United host Boreham Wood at the Prestige Group Stadium after a busy Bank Holiday schedule in the Enterprise National League

Pools played two games in three days across the weekend, beating Woking 3-0 at home before travelling to Essex for a 1-1 draw with Southend United.

Manager Simon Grayson is still happy with the ‘positive mentality’ that his side have shown so far this season and hopes to keep building on the previous results this weekend.

Boreham Wood are the visitors to TS24, and they come into the fixture in good form, losing only once this campaign on the opening day.

The Wood have only played away from home once so far this season, drawing 3-3 with Carlisle United.

The last meeting between the two sides came in February at the Prestige Group Stadium.

Pools ran out 3-1 winners on the day, with goals from Joe Grey, Mani Dieseruvwe and Luke Waterfall.
