Academy launch Talent ID Trials

Hartlepool United Academy will be holding several Talent ID trials ahead of the 2025/26 season during the February half-term.

A number of players have come through the academy set-up over recent years and featured for the Hartlepool United first team, with three players achieving senior debuts in the last 12 months.

The set-up involves Pools working closely with Hartlepool College of Further Education, offering a variety of educational opportunities alongside the opportunity to represent our Youth or Elite Teams.

The Talent ID trials will be for current U16 and U17 footballers (School Years 11 & 12), consisting of a presentation followed by a training session and game.

The initial Talent ID trials will be held in the February half-term and be overseen by the club’s academy coaching staff. All players must pre-register by completing the online form.

To register for our Talent ID trials, please complete the online form by clicking here.

You will receive an email with our Hartlepool United Academy information pack attached. Within that pack there will be full details including date, time, location, pathway, courses, code of conduct and much more.

Please note, not everyone’s date and time for their Talent ID trial will be the same, so it’s important to read all the information carefully.

If you have any questions, please get in touch by emailing academy@hartlepoolunited.co.uk.
