Saturday’s National League fixture away to Wealdstone will be dedicated to supporting the Her Game Too campaign.
The event aims to celebrate and promote females in football, both on and off the pitch, while raising awareness of the vital work Her Game Too does to tackle sexism in football and ensure that football remains a sport for everyone.
Founded in 2021, Her Game Too is a growing movement of passionate female football fans and advocates, committed to combating misogyny and creating a more inclusive environment within football. Their mission is to ensure that females feel welcome, respected and empowered to enjoy the beautiful game without fear of discrimination.
Her Game Too partners with clubs across the football pyramid to encourage positive change, spark vital conversations and amplify the voices of female fans, players and professionals. Both Hartlepool and Wealdstone are Her Game Too partner clubs, with Pools first joining forces three years ago.
To celebrate and raise awareness of Her Game Too on Saturday, Pools will be warming up in HGT branded shirts. Female mascots will also be leading the teams out – any Pools supporters wanting to get involved can email HartlepoolunitedHGT@outlook.com.
Wealdstone are also offering special ticket deals for female fans:
- Free tickets for girls aged under 19
- £5 tickets for women aged 19 and over
This offer applies to both home and away supporters and tickets must be ordered online in advance, including the free tickets for under-19s, and will not be available at the gate.
Pools will also be dedicating a home fixture to the Her Game Too campaign later in the season for the third year running, with details announced in due course.
