Dickenson joined Pools on loan from Oldham Athletic in February 2024. He has played more than 200 times in the Football League, with over 11 seasons of experience.
A former Southampton and Brighton youngster, Dickenson spent two years at League One side Gillingham before winning the 2017 Player of the Year award for Colchester United.
The left-footer then went on to play for MK Dons, Exeter City and Carlisle United during his experienced career before putting pen to paper at Oldham in the summer.
