Burton became Pools’ first signing of the 2023/24 campaign after leaving Scarborough Athletic.
The left-sided defender played for Barnsley’s development side before enjoying a year in the Northern Premier League with Tadcaster Albion.
Burton spent last season in the National League North with Scarborough, making 34 appearances as they recorded a top half finish.
