TEAM NEWS | Hartlepool United vs Marine AFC

Pete Wild has made three changes to his Hartlepool United starting XI for today’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Marine AFC, following last weekend’s league victory over Forest Green Rovers.

Sam Lavelle makes his Pools debut, while Jack Nolan and new signing Max Clark also come into the side. Jack Hunter drops out of the team, and Jack Earing misses out after sustaining a minor foot knock in training.

Jamie Miley returns to the matchday squad having recovered from a foot injury. Luke Charman is unavailable due to illness.

Defenders Max Kouogun and Liam Gibson have both resumed full training, but today’s fixture comes too soon for them. Midfielder Corey McKeown has also returned to the grass after seven weeks out with a foot injury.

Owen Hampson, Max Merrick and Jay Benn remain sidelined with their respective injuries.

HUFC XI: Thompson, McNally ©, Ilunga, Hugill, Eccleston, Sheron, Nolan, Popov, Deeming, Clark, Lavelle.

Substitutions: Fisher, Hunter, John, Miley, Thornton, Harris, Bondo.
