Sinclair: “There’s no time to dwell.”

Tyrese Sinclair looks ahead to Hartlepool United’s trip to face Tamworth on Saturday in the Enterprise National League.

After making his Pools debut last weekend, Sinclair spoke on his experience at the Club so fartelling local press:

“I enjoyed it being back out there, being in a good environment. The boys have taken to me well, and I’ve fitted in with the squad. So yeahit’s been a good first few weeks.

“I knew a couple of the players, like Cam John, who I’ve played with for three years now. So that definitely  helped, [I’m] just excited to see where the season takes us.”

On the defeat against Aldershot Townthe forward stated Pools “can’t dwell” as they hope to bounce back against the Lambs on the road.

“We were disappointed with the result, ultimately. We weren’t good enough in both boxes.

I think if you look at the game as a whole, it was probably not a 3-0 game. We’ve got a good week’s training in. We can’t dwell on last week; there’s no time to dwell.

There are big characters in the changing room. Weve just got to try and put that behind us and get a result at Tamworth, and build a little bit of momentum.

“[They’re a] tough, honest team. We’ve got to go into it confident and look to get three points.

“[It] looks tight at the top, and between the rest [for play-offs]. I think if you get a run in this league, you can push up the table really quickly.

The 25-year-old began this season with the Minstermen, making 12 appearances, before joining the Moors on loan, where he contributed to five goals in 10 matches.

“The football season is a long nine months”, Sinclair added. “You’ve got to handle these little bumps in the road.

It has been challengingbut mentally I think I’m strong enough to cope with those little bumps and move on.

“I started the season off with York. Football changesso went to Solihull and enjoyed my time there as well.

They just got me back playing with a smile on my face, and I’m grateful for Solihull letting me come to do that.

It was a no-brainer for me to come out and play for Hartlepool. With the new takeover, the Club looks like it’s going to go in the right direction.

UltimatelyI’m fully focused on getting the games in now and helping the team get a play-off spot. I don’t see why not, it’s a great Club.

“[I want to] play as well as I can for Hartlepool right this minute and see where it takes us.
