Pools manager Darren Sarll has ruled new signing Gary Madine available for selection on Saturday, having completed three weeks on the training pitch at Maiden Castle.
Meanwhile, Dan Dodds and Luke Charman will continue to sit Saturday’s game out.
Central defender Tom Parkes, who suffered a reoccurrence of a shoulder injury from last season, was forced off early against Woking and will be subject to a late fitness test.
“Tom will be a flip of a coin on Saturday – it’ll be a 50/50,” explained Sarll.
“Dan Dodds should be okay for the following weekend, hopefully that Halifax game. Dan and Luke Charman give us great width, so having them missing has been a big adaptation for the team tactically.
“Luke will be looking towards the end of September or the start of October – he’s coming along nicely.
“Kieran Wallace has had another week of full training, so he’s on week two of his own pre-season. He’s getting there and progressing well.
“Gary Madine has worked hard and is now at the back end of week three for himself. He should be available to participate somewhat on Saturday.”
Joe Aungiers is continuing to complete his rehabilitation from a broken wrist suffered at the start of August.
Max Storey has also endured a horrific injury, dislocating his elbow and suffering two fractures to his arm while in action for Blyth Spartans over the Bank Holiday weekend. The Club wishes Max the best of luck with his recovery.
