Robinson called up for international duty

Pools midfielder Darren Robinson, on loan from Derby County, has joined up with the Northern Ireland U21 squad ahead of their final Euro U21 qualifying fixtures.

Managed by Tommy Wright, Northern Ireland currently sit fifth in Group F.

Their final home game of the campaign takes place on Saturday 12 October as Azerbaijan head to Ballymena Showgrounds.

And on Tuesday 15 October, Northern Ireland head to Luxembourg to round off the qualifiers.

Robinson has made 13 international appearances at youth level for Northern Ireland. He will miss Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup fixture at home to Brackley Town as a result of his call-up.
