Robinson appears twice on international duty

Pools midfielder Darren Robinson, on loan from Derby County, has returned to The Prestige Group Stadium after playing twice for Northern Ireland U21s on international duty.

The 19-year-old played twice for the young Northern Ireland side in the UEFA Under-21 European Championship qualifiers, marking his 13th international appearance at youth level.

Robinson played 85 minutes as his side claimed a point in a 0-0 draw against second placed, England U21s, last Friday.

He started again on Tuesday night, playing 45 minutes in a 2-1 defeat to group leaders Ukraine U21s.

Northern Ireland finished in fifth place in Group F in the UEFA Under-21 European Championship qualifiers.
