Reiss McNally signs for Pools

Hartlepool United are delighted to announce the signing of Reiss McNally.

The 24-year old, highly rated defender arrives in the North East having kept an impressive 21 clean sheets at Kidderminster Harriers, last season.

McNally, a versatile addition to Pools’ back line, already boasts over 150 career appearances and will officially become a Poolie on 1 July.

Manager, Simon Grayson said:

“Reiss is a welcome addition to the squad and someone who has played a lot of football for such a young age in a number of positions over the last few years. He was part of a squad that narrowly missed out on promotion last season, so he knows what it takes to win football matches. Reiss, like other signings, adds versatility to the group which will be needed over the course of a long season.”

On signing, McNally said:

“I am absolutely delighted to be here and I cannot wait to contribute to the history of this great football club. When I was made aware of the interest, there was only one place I wanted to be. I’m excited to get going and show what I can do.”
