Pools sign Alex Reid

Hartlepool United Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Alex Reid on a permanent deal

 

The centre-forward has over 200 appearances in the National League for eight clubs, including Solihull Moors, Oldham, Wrexham and Wealdstone.

Reid scored 16 goals in 30 league games for the Stones last season.

On joining Pools, Reid said:

“I’m buzzing to be here.

“I know Shez [Nathan Sheron], it’s the third Club I’ve been at with him.

“I’ve come in to score goals and get the Club as high as I can in the league and win games.”

Pools boss Simon Grayson said:

“We are delighted to have brought Alex here.

“Obviously, he’s a goal scorer, he’ll bring something different to the team in terms of his pace and his attributes.

“He had a fantastic season at Wealdstone last year, I think he will be a really good addition to the Football Club, and hopefully, he can hit the ground running and gets as many goals as he did last year for us.”
