Pools celebrates supporters around the world with Away From Home Membership

Hartlepool United has launched its Away From Home Membership, giving supporters living beyond Teesside a new way to stay connected with the Club while recognising the loyalty of Poolies who continue to support Hartlepool United wherever they call home.

Whether supporters have moved elsewhere in the UK, settled overseas or simply can’t make it to Victoria Park as often as they’d like, the membership has been created to help them stay connected while enjoying a range of exclusive benefits throughout the season.

Available for £10 per month as part of a 12-month subscription, members will receive up to three complimentary home league match tickets each season, a 10 per cent Club Shop discount, an exclusive welcome gift and access to members-only merchandise.

Generations of Poolies continue to follow the Club from across the UK and around the world, with many making regular journeys back to Victoria Park while supporting the Club from afar throughout the season.

Rose Stoker, Commercial & Operations Director at Hartlepool United, said: “One thing we’ve seen time and time again is that being a Poolie doesn’t stop when you move away from Hartlepool.

“We have supporters living right across the UK and around the world who still follow every game, travel back to Victoria Park whenever they can and care just as deeply about this football club as they always have.

“The Away From Home Membership is about recognising those supporters. We want those supporters to know they’re still a valued part of this football club and that their support means every bit as much to us.

“Pools has always been built on the loyalty of its supporters. Wherever you are, you’ll always be welcome at Victoria Park because The Vic will always be home.”

One of the first supporters to sign up was lifelong Poolie Lucy, who has followed Hartlepool United for more than 30 years despite living in Northern Ireland.

Lucy first visited Victoria Park with her father as a nine-year-old and, although she moved to Northern Ireland almost 20 years ago, her connection with the Club has never changed. She still makes the journey back several times each season and continues to sponsor players.

Lucy said: “As soon as I saw the Away From Home Membership, I knew I wanted to sign up.

“I’ve lived in Northern Ireland for almost 20 years now, but Pools has never stopped being my club. I still travel back whenever I can, follow every game and always look for ways to support the Club.

“The benefits are brilliant, but for me it’s about much more than that. It’s knowing the Club recognises supporters like me who can’t be at Victoria Park every week but still feel just as connected to Pools. It really means a lot to know the Club values supporters like me.”

The Away From Home Membership is available now for £10 per month as a 12-month subscription.
