Pools announce digital partnership with Urban Zoo

Hartlepool United is delighted to announce a new partnership with Urban Zoo as the Club invests in improving the digital experience for supporters.

The partnership will see Urban Zoo work alongside the Club to develop a new digital platform, including a brand-new official website, Hartlepool United’s brand new official mobile app, an integrated Single Sign-On (SSO) system and a dedicated streaming platform.

The project forms part of the Club’s wider commitment to improving the supporter experience by bringing its digital services together in one place.

Supporters will be able to access Club news, fixtures, tickets, retail and exclusive content through a single account, making it easier to stay connected with Hartlepool United wherever they are.

The introduction of a dedicated streaming platform will also create new opportunities for supporters to engage with the Club through exclusive video content, behind-the-scenes features, interviews and live broadcasts where available.

Rose Stoker, Commercial and Operations Director at Hartlepool United, said: “This partnership is another important investment for Hartlepool United and reflects the direction we’re taking as a football club. As we continue to develop both on and off the pitch, it’s important that every part of the Club reflects the ambition we have for the future.

“Our supporters interact with the Club every day, whether that’s through our website, buying tickets or keeping up with the latest news. We wanted to work with a partner that not only understands football, but has a proven track record of delivering digital platforms for clubs operating at the highest level. Urban Zoo’s experience made them the outstanding choice for this project.

“This is about creating a digital experience that is modern, accessible and built around our supporters. It’s an important investment in the future of the Club and one that will help us build even stronger connections with our supporters for years to come.”

Urban Zoo is one of the UK’s leading digital specialists in professional sport, working with clubs and organisations including Aston Villa, Everton, AFC Bournemouth and the English Football League.

Based in the North West, Urban Zoo has a proven track record of delivering modern, supporter-focused digital platforms, making it the natural partner as Hartlepool United continues to invest in the future of the Club.

Stuart Vose, Chief Customer Officer at Urban Zoo, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Hartlepool United at such an exciting time for the Club. There’s a clear ambition throughout the organisation, both on and off the pitch, and we’re proud to be supporting that through this partnership.

“Supporters expect to be able to connect with their club wherever they are and that’s exactly what we’re here to deliver. Together, we’ll create a new website, official app and streaming platform that make it easier for fans to access the content, services and experiences that matter most to them.

“We’re looking forward to working closely with everyone at the Club and creating digital platforms that supporters can enjoy for many years to come.”

Further details on the Club’s new digital platforms will be announced as development progresses.
