Pools and MEYBA unveil 2026/27 Away Kit

Hartlepool United and MEYBA have unveiled the Club’s new Away Kit ahead of Saturday’s first away fixture of the 2026/27 season against Aldershot Town.

Lee Clark’s side will wear the kit for the first time at the EBB Stadium as Pools look to build on their opening-day victory over Barrow.

A popular colour with supporters, black returns for the new campaign as part of a clean, contemporary design with a distinctive Hartlepool identity.

A tonal ship’s-wheel pattern runs throughout the shirt, inspired by the supporter-designed crest worn by Pools between 1995 and 2017 and by the town’s proud maritime heritage.

Sky-blue trim provides a striking contrast to the black base and maintains a clear connection to the Club’s traditional colours. Finer details include “1908” beneath the rear collar and “Never Say Die” inside the neckline.

Developed with MEYBA, the shirt combines lightweight performance fabric with a contemporary leisurewear-inspired look.

Rose Stoker, Commercial and Operations Director at Hartlepool United, said: “We know how popular black away kits are with our supporters, and we wanted to bring that colour back with a design that felt modern and unmistakably Pools.

“The ship’s wheel pattern connects the shirt to a former crest that many Poolies remember fondly, while also reflecting the maritime heritage of our town. The sky-blue detailing brings the Club’s traditional colours into the design and works brilliantly against the black.

“We also wanted to create a shirt that supporters would enjoy wearing beyond matchday. It has a clean, understated look, but the finer details make it uniquely ours.

“MEYBA understood what we wanted to achieve from the outset and has delivered a kit we’re extremely proud of. We can’t wait to see the team wear it for the first time at Aldershot on Saturday.”

The Away Kit is the latest release from the second-season collection created by Hartlepool United and MEYBA, following the unveiling of the Club’s hugely successful new blue-and-white striped Home Kit.

Mark Underwood, CEO at MEYBA, added: “This was a standout concept from the earliest stages, and we worked closely with the Club’s commercial team to develop the initial idea and shape the direction of the kit.

“The black base, tonal ship’s wheel pattern and sky-blue detailing made an immediate impression. Together, we refined those elements to create a shirt with its own character that still feels unmistakably Pools.

“We wanted the jersey to perform for the players on the pitch while having a clean, contemporary look that supporters would want to wear every day.

“We’re delighted with what we’ve created together and proud to continue building our partnership with Pools.”

The Hartlepool United 2026/27 Away Kit will be available soon from Pools Retail, online and in store.

The shirt will be available in mini, junior and adult sizes, with a limited number of long-sleeved versions also available.

Full on-sale information will be announced across the Club’s official channels.
