PFA Community Champion Award

Congratulations to Louis Stephenson who has been selected as HUFC PFA Community Champion.

Louis attended HUFC Academy in 2021 and was successful in achieving his professional contract with Hartlepool United in 2023. His attitude for a young developing player, both on and off the pitch, has been excellent and he has been a great role model especially for our younger supporters. Louis has also attended a range of events from primary school appearances, walking football and disability activities and has always shown great enthusiasm to be involved, sometimes at short notice.

Louis said, “I’m really pleased to accept the PFA Community Champion Award. The work that the Foundation and Club do in the community is great and I’m pleased that I can contribute to the community initiatives and hopefully make a difference to the lives of those in Hartlepool”.

Keith Nobbs HUCSF Manager said, “The PFA Community Champion Awards were created to celebrate those players who go above and beyond to support their communities. Creating a great impact, engaging and investing in children and adults to build and strengthen good health and wellbeing for the residents and developing good relationships with HUFC and the local community”.
