After two comeback wins at home, Hartlepool United are back on the road as they travel to Solihull Moors on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
The Lowdown
Pools are on a great run of form at the minute, winning four of their last five games under new boss Kevin Phillips. Their last two results, a 3-2 win over Altrincham and 3-1 win over Boreham Wood, have seen some real mettle from Phillips' side as they continue to look up the table.
Solihull will offer a firm test, though, as they're currently fourth in the league and seven points clear of Pools. Andy Whing's side also features a former Poolie in Gus Mafuta. Their last five matches show two wins, two draws, and a loss.
The History
The sides have met 11 times before with Pools winning four, Solihull winning five, and two matches ending in a draw. Earlier this season, Solihull ran out 2-0 winners at the Suit Direct Stadium. Pools' last win came in February 2021 after goals from Luke Armstrong and David Ferguson.
Team News
Otis Khan, Josh Umerah, Anthony Mancini and Dan Dodds all remain sidelined. Alex Lacey is also a doubt after facing a recent setback in training with a minor back injury.
Courtney Senior will be assessed ahead of the fixture, while Courtney Duffus is available for selection after returning from parent club Barrow.
