We're excited to reveal Dean Windass and John Hendrie will be our special guests in hospitality ahead of Saturday's home fixture against Barnet.
The duo hold more than 1200 appearances combined in professional football. Windass is most remembered for his two spells at Hull City, including his winning goal at Wembley in the 2008 Championship play-off final. The striker also played for the likes of Aberdeen, Oxford United, Bradford City and Middlesbrough.
John Hendrie is the dad of current Pools defender, Luke Hendrie, and played under assistant coach Lennie Lawrence in the 1990s at Middlesbrough. Hendrie helped Lawrence's side win promotion to the newly-founded Premier League in 1992, and he later scored the final goal at Ayresome Park for Boro. Hendrie's career also included spells at Bradford, Newcastle, Leeds and Barnsley.
Both Windass and Hendrie will be joining us in the Maidens Lounge for a Q&A ahead of our National League fixture at home to Barnet.
