Hartlepool United are pleased to announce the loan signing of Colchester United playmaker Chay Cooper, who is eligible for Saturday's home fixture against Boreham Wood.
The 22-year-old holds a good pedigree having spent four years with Spurs as a youngster.
Upon departing the Premier League outfit, Cooper joined Colchester where he's played 10 times in League Two this campaign and scored twice.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at St Albans City in the National League South, registering six goals in 22 appearances.
Cooper will wear the number 41 shirt at the Suit Direct Stadium and could be involved at the weekend for Kevin Phillips' side.
Upon joining Pools, Cooper stated:
"I'm excited to be joining the Club - it's a good opportunity for me to get some games under my belt at a good standard and progress. I'm feeling fit and I'm eager to show what I'm about. I can't wait to get started on Saturday."
