Hartlepool United are pleased to welcome Mitch Hancox to the Suit Direct Stadium on loan from York City.
The midfielder arrives at Hartlepool until January and is eligible to make his debut on Saturday afternoon at home to Ebbsfleet United.
The former Birmingham City man has worked under Pools manager John Askey twice in the past. Hancox was part of the Macclesfield team that lifted the National League title in 2018.
More recently, Hancox played a vital role in helping Askey's York side win promotion from the National League North in 2022.
Hancox will wear the number 33 shirt during his time at Hartlepool. He won't be eligible to play against his parent club.
Upon joining Pools, Hancox commented:
"I was eager to get it done. I've worked with the gaffer before and I know what he's all about. I'm ready to go straight into the action - I've already played against Ebbsfleet this season and I'm looking forward to it."
