We're delighted to announce Bob Newton will be our hospitality guest for our home fixture against Bromley on Saturday, November 25.
Newton made 184 appearances for Hartlepool across two different spells in the 1970's and 80's.
The striker also scored 62 goals at the Suit Direct Stadium. Two of those goals saw Newton dump Crystal Palace out of the FA Cup in 1978, in a shock upset against Terry Venables' side.
Newton will be taking part in a pre-match Q&A in the Maidens Lounge ahead of our National League clash with Bromley, recalling some of his favourite memories during his time as a Poolie.
