Now that the 2022/23 season has concluded, we’re looking back at the loanees that will depart over the summer.First, Jakub Stolarczyk will return to Leicester City after joining Pools in January. The Pole was our number one for much of the second half of the season. In all, Jakub made 17 appearances for Pools, starting with the 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers in February.Another January signing, Taylor Foran will head back to London to rejoin Arsenal’s development squad after spending the spring with Pools. The 19-year-old made 11 appearances for Pools, including eight starts, competing with Euan Murray, Edon Pruti, and Dan Dodds for a place in the back-three.Dan Kemp, a short-term revelation since joining from MK Dons in January, will also head back to his parent club in the summer. A hat-trick against Grimsby was his greatest highlight, though strikes against Walsall, Wimbledon, and Bradford will also live long in the memory.Next, Rollin Menayese will formally rejoin Walsall, though he headed back early after a season-ending injury. A mainstay in the defence when fit, Rollin made 21 starts for Pools, scoring twice. His goals provided two wins for Pools - against Crawley Town in December 2022 and against Rochdale on Boxing Day.Jack Hamilton also joined on loan last summer, brought to the club from Livingston. He’s struggled with niggles, but has featured prominently alongside Josh Umerah and Connor Jennings. In all, Jack made 37 appearances for Pools from the start and off the bench, scoring four times.

Tayt Trusty returns to Blackpool FC having made four appearances for the club. The young midfielder was signed in January.

Finally, Matty Dolan returned to his hometown club in January, and his loan deal now converts to a permanent move. Dolan’s experience will be crucial next season.
