Important fan information for 2023/24 season

Purchasing Tickets

We would always encourage fans to purchase tickets in advance to speed up the matchday experience. We have introduced a new ticketing system including new scanners which will eradicate issues we have had previously with e-ticketing and we would suggest that fans choose this option wherever possible.

Tickets are issued electronically as standard. There is a £1 charge for paper tickets and this should be selected as your delivery method at checkout.

Under 14s will not be allowed entry to The Suit Direct Stadium without an accompanying adult.

Please be advised that we may ask for ID for concessions when they reach the turnstiles. It's not always easy to gauge how old somebody is, so if you are stopped please don't take offence and be prepared if you look older/younger than your age. We will always ask for Student and Veteran ID so please make sure you carry this with you.

If you are unable to provide the relevant ID when stopped you may be required to pay adult price.

Under 5s can attend for free when accompanied by a full paying adult but they will require a ticket so please ensure you order this along with the rest of your party

We also offer a free companion ticket to accompany fans who are in receipt of Higher Rate Disability Allowance or Enhanced PIP (we will need to see proof of this benefit).

Please note the following changes to ticket office opening hours for 2023/24.

Town End PA System

After significant improvements, we can confirm the town end speakers have been fixed. The PA system will be heard loud and clear from your allocated matchday spot and we appreciate your patience

Bars, hospitality & kiosks

The Suit Direct stadium will now operate a cashless system on all bars, kiosks and hospitality on matchdays to reduce congestion, queuing times and improve speed of service for our supporters to ensure they don’t miss out on any of the action.

Supporters are advised that only card payments will be accepted in these areas from Friday 14th July 2023.

The Club are delighted to welcome two local companies The Little Kitchen and Big Bamboo to the stadium on matchdays, offering our supporters alternative menus to previous seasons.

The Club will continue to provide in house catering in some outlets, however we have worked hard to improve our products and suppliers to ensure better value for money including adding Madri on draught in our Mill House and Townend bars and adding additional products to suit all.

Hospitality will open two and a half hours prior to kick-off and e-tickets will be emailed to guests prior to each game.

Supporters may request hard tickets as an alternative, by emailing commercial@hartlepoolunited.co.uk.

Programmes

Following the path of several other Clubs, we have made the decision to create digital programmes only for 2023/24 season. The costs of printing a programme booklet are no longer sustainable.

The programme will contain the same high standard of content and is available to purchase in a downloadable version via Pools Retail website, our ticketing system or the Hartlepool United app.

Live Streaming

Hartlepool United fixtures will be available to access on The National League TV. The platform works the same way as iFollow, in which audio commentary can be purchased and any game that is not Saturday 3pm can be live streamed for £9.99

You can opt to buy monthly, seasonal or individual passes with all the information here:

https://www.nationalleaguetv.com

Please note this will not be available for the pre-season fixtures.

Sensory Room

We are happy to announce that our sensory room will reopen from the start of the 2023/24 League season (not friendlies).

This room is located next to the 1908 Lounge and will allow fans with sensory issues and may struggle with noises and crowds to have a break during the game should they need it.

The room is free of charge but we would ask that fans email in advance of the game to request access in advance via supporterliaision@hartlepoolunited.co.uk or book online via Purchase Matchday Tickets - Hartlepool United as we have limited spaces available. Thank you to Silly Sloths who have kindly supported us with this project to ensure that games are accessible to fans with additional needs.

We will also be live streaming the game directly into the room so no need to miss any of the action!

Supporter Liaison Officer/Disability Liaison Officer

Our Supporter Liaison & Disability Liaison Officer is Sarah Rowntree who is contactable via supporterliaison@hartlepoolunited.co.uk for any queries/comments or concerns.

Sarah will also be available on matchdays to welcome fans and hopefully resolve any issues in real time. If you need to speak to her please contact a steward and she will do her best to assist.

Supporter Conduct

The Club have been made aware of some targeted abuse toward members of Hartlepool United staff and their family members, both online and in person.

The Club recognises that all supporters have a right to express their opinions and it also understands the frustration following the relegation, however the Club will not tolerate outright abuse toward staff or family members of staff.

The Club understands that the majority of our supporters are excellent and conduct themselves appropriately, but it would like to reiterate to the small minority of supporters that abuse will not be tolerated.

The Club staff are working exceptionally hard behind the scenes on a daily basis to implement positive changes and by no means should they or their families be subject to targeted abuse.

To that end banning orders will be issued to anyone found abusing staff online or in person.
