We're pleased to announce the loan signing of Charlie Seaman until the end of the season. The full-back joins from Doncaster Rovers.
Starting in West Ham's academy, Seaman joined Bournemouth in 2017 and initially played for their under-18 side. While on the south coast, Seaman enjoyed loan spells at Weymouth, Dundee United, Eastleigh, and Maidstone. His contract with Bournemouth expired in 2020 and he moved up north to join Doncaster Rovers.
While at Doncaster, he's spent time on loan with Maidstone, making 11 appearances and scoring three goals. He now joins up with Pools for the 2023/24 season, providing another option at right-back alongside Dan Dodds.
Seaman stated:
Delighted to sign for the season. After I spoke to the Manager, I knew where I wanted to be. There is a good group here who all want the same success.
John Askey added:
Charlie comes with EFL and National League experience. He’s a good fit and we know he can do well here. He has all the attributes to have a good season with us.
Seaman is available for this Friday's home game with Harrogate Town. He will take up the number 21 shirt for the season.
