Hartlepool United are delighted to announce the loan signing of Tayt Trusty. The attacking midfielder joins Keith Curle’s side from Blackpool until the end of the season.
The British-Cypriot attacker came through Blackpool’s academy, and has spent time on loan with Hyde United and Radcliffe to gain first-team experience. He’s also appeared on the bench for Blackpool’s first team and attended Cyprus U21’s training camp in November 2022. Before Blackpool, Trusty was a part of the Onside Academy in London which has also had fellow graduate and Middlesbrough defender, Isiah Jones.
Trusty added: As soon as I heard there was a opportunity to come to Hartlepool, it was a no brainer. I have trained with the lads this morning and you can see the mix of experience and quality. I can't wait to get started'.
Keith Curle commented: A young dynamic prospect. He is exciting. He has been on the fringes of first-team football at Blackpool and has come here to further his career. He needs to be playing league football.
Trusty will wear the number 42 shirt and his move is subject to EFL clearance.
