We can today confirm the departure of Mark Shelton who joins National League side Oldham on a permanent deal.
Shelton joined Pools in December 2019 from Salford in an initial loan deal before the season was cut short due to COVID pandemic. The Midfielder signed a permanent deal in the following summer and became a instrumental player in the National League promotion season, as well as scoring a penalty in the play-off final against Torquay.
Shelton has gone on to make 110 appearences for Hartlepool, scoring nine goals.
