Hartlepool United are delighted to announce the deadline day loan signing of Clarke Oduor.
The attacking-midfielder joins from Barnsley on a loan deal until the end of the season with a track record in both the Championship and League One.
A Leeds academy graduate, Oduor broke through and made one appearance for the club before signing with Barnsley in the Championship in August 2019.
A natural attacking midfielder, he went on to make 48 appearances for the Yorkshire outfit, including 20 during their 2021/22 Championship campaign.
Alongside his club appearances, he’s also been capped once for the Kenyan national team.
Paul Hartley added: 'I’m really pleased to bring a number 10 in. Clarke can create and be exciting. A different type of player that we’ve been looking for. Left footed as well. We’re excited to work with him and I’m sure he will strength the team.'
Oduor will wear the number 27 this season and will be available for the matchday squad this weekend.
