Fancy dress at a football game is a regular occurrence but no one does it like Hartlepool United. We are now delighted to reveal, on behalf of the fans, this years theme for our last away fixture against Scunthorpe United.
This year we are wanting to pay tribute and say thank you to our wonderful NHS, who for the past couple of years have helped guide us through the covid pandemic, and are still working under severe stressful conditions. With this mind, we are delighted to announce the fancy dress theme will be Doctors and Nurses. With two years off due to the pandemic, this is an ideal time to bring back our fancy dress tradition and give those NHS staff the appreciation they deserve.
We hope everyone enters into the same spirit as previous years and as many as possible attend the Scunthorpe away game on Saturday April 30th suitably attired in their Doctors and Nurses outfits, I’m sure there will be all sorts of versions, from the Rocky Horror picture show to Casualty to Emergency Ward 10 (for the older fans).
